Strike: Thursday 23rd October is a strike day for all teachers (primary and secondary) in New Zealand. As such Horowhenua College will not be open for instruction on this day.
Not all of our teachers are union members and there will be teachers at college to supervise students who, for whatever reason, are not able to be at home for the day. These students should be at school at the normal time and in uniform. Please contact the school office (0800 467694) if your child will be at school on this day. We realise this is very disruptive but thank you for your support in this matter.
Cultural Awards:
Our Cultural Awards will be held on Tuesday 21st October in the college hall. The Awards will begin at 6pm. Emails have been sent out to parents and caregivers of students who will be receiving an award. Parents, caregivers and whānau are all welcome to attend.
