Waka Walls Art Works from NUA

Horowhenua College’s submitted art works for the Waka Walls will be on display during the Horowhenua Arts Trail.  All Year 12 and 13 Painting students submitted work.

Their art will be at the Horowhenua Art Society on Bath Street 2-3 May and after this will be moved to Te Takere where it will be on display in the main space for one week.

Successful submitters will be notified by the Council in about a week’s time.  10 submissions will be selected for the first display and 10 will be selected for display later in the year.

The final works are being unveiled during Youth Week with the scheduled date for unveiling set for Friday 29 May.  All submitters and their families will be invited to an afternoon tea function at Te Takere as a celebration.
