Career Education is so important to us we have turned the old library space into a one stop shop full of career information and resources we proudly call the Careers Centre.  In our Careers Centre we provide career advice and mentoring for all age levels Y9-13.  We work with students individually and in groups to gain the skills needed to become independent, productive and ready for the working world or further study/training.  We seriously believe work based placements and qualifications are important contributing factors to the success here at school and the transition process onto their chosen career pathways or the so called 'Real World'.

Our STAR programmes focus on many different work industries which are delivered in many different ways.  Students can participate in short 'taster' courses hosted by our school or outside providers to support their career decision making.

Transition is also an option which is designed for students who are not yet ready for the work place.  Available for Y11-13 students to work through the SPEC programme which assists them to become familiar with the key competencies and eventually become independent and self managed with the skills needed to successfully transition onto work or training.
