Parent portal
The school has developed a parent portal. The purpose is to allow parents to become more involved with their sons or daughter’s progress at school. By going online, they will be able to view student timetables, up to date attendance information, course details and some student results. If you have not received a username and password please email Mr B Green (bgreen@horowhenua.school.nz) Click on the school logo link on the right
 Services Academy

Horowhenua College Services Academy took out two of three challenging awards during an induction course at Waiouru Military Camp.

Students from services academies throughout the lower North Island attended the two- week course which started on February 13, where they were physically and mentally tested by a series of events designed to prepare them for a services career.

The induction is part of a programme run through the Education Department and is completed by all students who attend services academies nationally, Horowhenua Academy director Chris Tews said.
